Has Liebea ever beaten anyone in the first game?

I don't remember her ever winning against me in normal mode, but I have died to her as Grolla before. I remember I died to her at low health when I was fighting the teleporter bosses, and once when I made a stupid mistake and she used Liebesstrum then and jumped on me.
I said the first game because she CAN and WILL kill you in the Freudenstachel trial, especially if she jumps to the very end of the platform during desperation mode and uses Liebessturm.

Yeah, you quite summed the facts: she had me in RKSF at low health... Her stage was harder then, but I made a few mistakes at the time.

But in RKS... She's harmless, and fighting her with Freudenstachel makes this "battle" a genocide.
As I knew of Toad Man's pattern, it's easy to just shoot, wait for the landing, shoot... No challenge at all.

Maybe the only way she can get someone, is pushing the player out of the screen with her "Storm tornado"-like attack...

Ah, yes, I've been beaten by Liebea many a time. As far as I can remember only in Grolla mode, although I could be wrong. I might've once dropped into the left side pit after trying to get out and getting hit by touching Liebea, but I'm not so sure about that.

Why? Having run this game for a lengthy amount of time I sometimes run into a situation where I simply fail to prevent her from using Liebes Sturm with a dash slash. Happens more often than you'd think as I'm required to have low health by then and a single Sturm is always fatal.

There have been a few instances where I have dashed into her out of disregard for my safety. Died like that at least once.

Maybe 7-10 times, total?

You know, I wonder how differently this would play if Liebea was just of a decent fighter as Zorne or Luste.

Are you kidding? Zorne is almost as pathetic in terms of challenge as Liebea.

Well, the only bosses I can beat without a special weapon are Liebea and Schwer (I also defeated Freudia once) because it's easy to learn their attack patterns and predict their next move. Plus their attacks don't deal much damage.

She never beated me.

I remember once a friend came over my house to watch me playing the game, and when I was about to fight Liebea, I said: "beat her in my place, you can do it" (and he didn't even know what was the shoot button) Still, he beated her. (very clumsily, but he did it)

When I played the first time, Liebea have killed me but only because I have spent almost all health at level and didn't know her pattern. And it's the only time when I have lost to her.
